Attorneys

Erin Russell has joined our firm as an Associate Attorney. Erin is a 5th-year litigator licensed in both Georgia and Illinois. Prior to attending law school, she spent eight years working as a litigation paralegal and private detective investigating injury claims. Erin attended DePaul University's College of Law in Chicago. Until recently, she focused her professional career primarily on the defense of catastrophic injury claims.

After graduating from DePaul, Erin relocated to Atlanta and began her litigation career with Dennis, Corry, Porter & Smith, a nationally recognized transportation firm. While there, she represented trucking companies and chemical and machine manufacturers in matters that involved traumatic injury ranging from basic orthopedic injuries, to limb loss, paralysis and wrongful death. Erin also represented both corporations and individuals in toxic tort, political corruption and conspiracy cases.

In 2006, she was recognized by Law & Politics magazine as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star for her work in transportation litigation. In 2007, Erin joined Hawkins & Parnell, a firm globally recognized as a premiere asbestos and product liability defense firm. She concentrated on defending machine and chemical manufacturers' injury claims, as well as attorneys in professional negligence matters. She also provided ethics opinions to attorneys and law firms on a variety of ethics matters. Erin again, was recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009 for her work in product liability defense. In early 2009, Erin returned home to Chicago and shifted her practice to the plaintiff's side of litigation, where she is now using the skill, knowledge and expertise she gained as a defense attorney to the advantage of people who have been injured or families who have lost a loved one.
